About Hilltop

Hilltop sits on the east side of Denver, roughly bounded by Colorado Boulevard to the west and Monaco Parkway to the east, with 1st Avenue and 6th Avenue marking its southern and northern edges. The neighborhood sits at a slightly elevated grade compared to surrounding areas, which gives it the name and, in spots, views toward the mountains.

Housing here skews toward larger single-family homes, many built from the 1930s through the 1960s, with a solid mix of Tudor, Colonial, and ranch styles. Lot sizes tend to be bigger than you'll find in closer-in Denver neighborhoods, and mature trees line most of the residential blocks. Renovation and new construction have been active here, so updated interiors behind classic facades are common.

Everything you'd need day-to-day — grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and retail — is a short drive or bike ride along Colorado Boulevard or out toward Cherry Creek. Cherry Creek North itself is just a few minutes west, and City Park is close to the north. Getting downtown takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car depending on traffic.
